I am so happy that my little one has finally come out of her shell! She is finally showing off and showing everyone else how fun she is! At school she has been doing really well and is showing off her many talents, including "Jazz Hands!" Which is my favorite thing, if you ask Savannah to show you her jazz hands she shakes her hands around (like our Elmo doll does) The funny part of it now is I have caught her dancing and then she brings out "jazz hands!" We also had a mini milestone tonight, we were getting ready for bath and all of a sudden she points to her potty and wants to sit on it, so she does and guess what she goes in the potty! Amazing! she has already gone #2 a few times, but that was mostly timing on Mommy's part, but this was her wanting to sit and actually going!!! Bravo!! (What has my life come to, I am blogging about going potty!)

Easter and other stuff
Books!!!
M&M's!!
Sorry it has been awhile since I have posted anything. I have been busy with school and Savannah and Stephen!! I recently had a position change at school and I now have my own classroom! It is really exciting and I am liking my job more and more. I am finally doing what I went to school for and I am having a great time. I have a room with 2 1/2 to 3 year olds, and it is really challenging but it is also really rewarding!! I have been working on getting the classroom the way I want it and lesson planning, so much of my extra time has been spent on that.
Little Miss Savannah Grace has just exploded with new words and a new found sense of self! She is becoming so much more outgoing and funny! She is saying "gra-papa" which is Grandpa, and "um-ma" which is Grandma, and she know so many animal sounds it is so cute!! She will hiss for a snake and roar for a lion and do an elephant complete with trunk action. She knows the dog, cat, horse, cow, rooster, chicken, elephant, monkey, lion, snake, and several others, it is so cute!! She is coming out of her shell and it is so great!! I will attempt to catch the animal sounds on video so I can share! She also is signing "more please" over and over, this is what they do at school and she uses that sign a lot!!
Easter was fun, we just hung out and she loved looking for eggs! It was so cute. She was really very good at finding the eggs and once she figured out there were M&M's in there, it was on! Well, that's about it - until next time!!

Momma B-Day 2
Well here it is another year... I think for the most part this year was a successful one. I have a wonderful husband a a wonderful daughter, and a wonderful family, Life is Good! I had a low key b-day, as many mom's do. I hung out with Savannah for the day( The messy face pics) and then went to dinner. It was a great day! We had a party on Sat and that was a lot of fun. We did a joint Birthday party with David and had a casino party and played Texas Hold Em, it was a lot of fun!

King family update
Savannah Grace is growing like a weed. I am just now starting to think of her as a kid now and not a baby. It is a weird thing for me because she is still small but she does all of these kid like things. I am loving when she tries to get her point across because she know exactly what she wants but is still mastering saying the words. She love to go outside, so she goes to the back door where her coat is and points and grunts, which means "I want to go outside!!" She also screams for her stroller when she wants to go to the park, it is actually really cute! She is just full of opinions! I think she is starting to say grandma, because last night when my mom left after watching her for the day, she went to the door and started to say "um-ma" which I think is grandma. It is just getting better and better to be a mom, I am enjoying each phase more than the last! It is really hard to go to work still, but I am enjoying it a little more.
As you will see in the pictures Savannah had her first fall that left a mark. She was walking along the table and smacked her cheek, leaving a bruise! I didn't think it was that bad but it was. I feel like a bad mom but there was nothing I could have done to prevent it, so... I will just have to live with it!
As for my loving husband, he is doing well. However, golf season is fast approaching and he has already had one tournament! I hope that he does well this year and enjoys playing! I do give him a hard time occasionally, but I know he is getting to do something he loves and is good at, so I'll give him a break! Well that's about it from our house!

Talent Show
Since my baby is such a reclusive diva, I caught some of her "talents" on camera and though I would share!

The Diva
After leaving work last night, I was talking with the girls that are Savannah's teachers and they made a funny comment that got me thinking about her personality. She said that she is very opinionated and she has this way about her that is very grown up, almost diva like. Which I agree, I just never really looked at it like that. She is down right sassy, she knows what she wants and who she wants to be around and she is pretty set in her ways. Yesterday, they said she was sharing her prized possession - her blankie - with a little boy her age, and both seemed happy holding the blankie together, however the moment he started to put it in his mouth Savannah ripped it out and gave him a dirty look. I know this is true because most people have seen this look - the one when she looks you up and down and seems to be saying "oh no you did not!" She is just such a funny little person with such a big personality already. I know that anyone who know my wonderful husband understands where she gets this personality - from him. With both of them you have to give them space and wait for them to come to you, don't get in there space. They are also extremely picky about who they allow into their world, they need to be in control of the situation and think it is their idea. It is funny because with both of them people are kind of puzzled about their personalities and I think many wonder if they are ever happy, but it is amazing when you get them alone or at home in their element with no outside pressure - they are so amazing and funny and great to be around. I get a little sad that other people cannot see how great Savannah and her Daddy are but the most important part to me is that I know and that we are such a happy family and I am so lucky for both of them!!
