Zoo trip!

It has been a few weeks since we went to the zoo, but I wanted to post some pics from that day. Savannah loved the zoo and all of the animals, people, and just being outside. We had a great time with Grandma Kim. I love going to the zoo as an adult ( that was actually one of the first places Stephen & I went on a date!) it is even better with Savannah!

Hope all is well with everyone! The King family is about the same as last post. We are leaving this week to go to Las Vegas for a little mini vacation, actually Daddy is playing in a golf tournament and we are tagging along! We will let you know how it goes, I'm sure she will love the lights etc..

I also wanted to say Congrats to Nicci and Matt! The wedding was beautiful and they are such a wonderful couple!! I wish you all the best in married life, and just remember (and tell each other), how much you love each other every day! 

Well, Miss Savannah Grace is growing up right before my eyes. We are now great at sitting up, and we can get up on hands and knees, but we just rock back and forth and don't quite know where to go from there. She loves the park, swinging in particular, and she loves to read, and play with her toys! She is also really digging feeding herself, and she really love eating real big people food - not this baby food stuff - YUCK! She does still eat the baby food but the more real food she tastes, the less baby food she wants. I can't really blame her, that stuff is gross. 

She also loves animals, especially the horses! She is so into them and is not a bit scared! Yesterday she went on her first horseback ride, it was so cute (we are starting her early!) Well gotta go, enjoy the pics and video!

Congrats Daddy!!

Just wanted to post a quick congrats to Stephen, aka Daddy, he did so well at his CEDIA golf tournament on Tuesday! He took home a bunch a great prizes like a TV, Speakers, and a whole house vacuum! (yeah from mommy) He also recently won a tournament with my dad, Mike, with a trophy and everything! We are so proud of him and he is just getting better and better. He does play a lot of golf, but we don't mind because it is what he loves to do and he is following his dream! We love you Daddy!!

Savannah is 6 Months Old!

Hello to all! Well the King family is plugging along about the same as last post. Not too much excitement happens with us. However, Savannah Grace is now 6 months old as of August 27! I think I say this every time, but I can't believe how quickly time passes, and how big she is getting. Everyday it is something new, sitting up, rolling over, pushing up to learn to crawl. It is crazy and sometimes hard to process how much is really taking place each day with her.  She loves being outside, swinging, and any type of animal. She loved the horses, dogs, cats, ducks, and chickens at Grandma and Grandpa's house. We are very lucky to be so close and to have so many wonderful people and animals to play with! She is babbling and trying so hard to make new sounds, her new thing is fake coughing. She will sit there are "cough" for 15 min, just to hear herself, it's actually pretty cute. We are working on our touchdown dance as we are preparing for football season, I think we are all excited about that. I am not doing much, outside of taking care of the house and family, and working a few days a week (and I get to being Savannah so it is actually really nice.)  Stephen is staying busy with work and golf, and of course us.  We have been to a few weddings lately and they were both beautiful and we were really honored to be a part of them. Also in a couple of weeks Stephen's sister will be tying the knot, so we are really excited for that event as well.
