So many 1st's

Watching the chickens with dad

Hello all!
We have made it home from our trip to Missouri! I am so proud of Stephen and Savannah, they both did very well on their 1st trip to Missouri. You have to understand going to my Grandparents in Missouri is like a new planet for most, it's in the country, with not a lot to do but hang out, so they both found things to do to keep they busy and had a great time! Savannah Grace's 1st plane trip went well, she fussed a bit but overall was really pretty good. Savannah entered, at the last minute, the Eagleville baby contest, we placed 2nd, but it should have been 1st we just were not fully prepared and didn't have a headband on, we were so much cuter than the 1st place winner! She also started to have rice cereal and is drinking from a sippy cup and loving it! I think she thinks she is so big! Since starting the rice cereal she has also been sleeping through the night, she slept from 8:15 to 6:15 the other night! All is well here and I hope all is well for everyone else!

Changes, changes...

Savannah Grace is getting so BIG! I am amazed how much she is turning into this wonderful little person. I knew it would happen, but it just seems strange that she has such a big personality in such a little body. She has done a few new things like laughing (a little tiny bit) and rolling over from tummy to back. She is such a funny little thing and I am always wondering what she is thinking. Her facial expressions are so varied and I always wonder if she does them on purpose. We need to start leaving her more often because she is getting more and more attached to Daddy and Mommy, but it is soooo hard!! I don't want to leave her - I am so selfish! We also went to the park and she went on the big swings for the first time. She seemed to like it, I guess I have a baby who likes the feeling of swinging - watch out roller coasters here we come!!

Stephen and Acasha's 1st Anniversary

June 1, 2008 was our 1st anniversary! We made it a whole year with out killing each other (just kidding!) It was actually some of the best times in our relationship. I think that the pregnancy was a very difficult time for us financially, emotionally and physically (for me), but we always remembered how much we love each other and howmuch our relationship means to us. The arrival of Savannah Grace has changed our relationship in many ways, and it has improved it in many ways as well. I think that God has a plan for all of us and whatever happens in life happens for a reason, we may not know it at first but in time we begin to realize there is master plan. I love every minute of being a mom and being Stephen's wife, it is amazing and I am so very lucky!
