Savannah is 10 weeks old!

I love the bath!

Wow! Time flies when your having fun, or sleep deprived! Savannah is sleeping in her own room and has been doing ok since about 8 weeks. The nights start off great. We read some books, listen to our night time music, swaddle the little one up and put her in bed. She falls asleep in 10 min with no crying! I thought to myself this will be easy! Then she wakes up for our midnight feeding, and it is all over, she does not want to go back to sleep at all! So we are up from 12 to 3 am, and I finally gave up and brought her into our room. Score: Savannah 1, Mom 0. Oh well we will keep trying! She is also becoming quite the little diva! She thinks she is the boss, and she kind of is. I am sure it is just a phase, but we better phase this out quickly! She is so much fun and worth all of the ups and downs! We are working through a bit of reflux, the doctor seems to think that is the problem and hopefully the medicine helps, but if anyone has any good suggestions I am up for trying anything! We are so lucky to have her in our life and even if she cries a lot it is so worth it. I have also been very worried about her not smiling very much, and not really smiling at me or Stephen, but yesterday it happened! I was so happy I cried. I bet I really confused her with that move. Oh well, I just was so happy! It is amazing the little things that make it all worthwhile.

Acasha's 1st birthday as a mom...

Well now I am a year older and a mom. Wow, that makes me feel really old! As of April 7 I am officially 26. My birthday was good fairly uneventful but good. Stephen surprised me with a new bed frame for the king sized bed we recently acquired, it is so nice to have a bigger bed! My family gave me a beautiful Tiffany necklace from New York, and we went to a quiet dinner. Overall it was a good birthday. Little Savannah Grace is getting bigger by the minute! I just can't believe how quickly they grow up and change. I am still enjoying every second (even when I have to sleep in the chair to keep her happy!)
